Guyline Hitch
This hitch is best suited for creating tension for non-critical jobs in slippery rope, where a standard tautline wouldn't work.  Don't use it for tying down a load, or where the hitch will see much movement, as it cannot tolerate uneven loading of the two legs of the loop.

It's fairly simple in that you tie two overhand knots somewhat close together, loop the free end around the object, and thread the rope with the "flow" of the overhand knots
